Jesse and I are so excited to announce that we are growing our family though adoption! We are currently in the process of adopting two children from Eastern Africa.

Our story: Jesse and I (Rachel) have wanted to grow our family through adoption since before we were married. We believe that through the Gospel, we are adopted by Christ to receive his inheritance, which is forgiveness of our sins, righteousness in the sight of God, the Father, and eternity in Heaven.  For us, adoption here on earth is part of living out the Gospel, and for our family, we feel the call of adoption on our lives and cannot wait to grow our family in this way. Although our original plan was to have a baby, followed by adopting a child, and continue on the path of having children and adopting children, it has been revealed to us through circumstance and several confirmations along the way that we are called to adopt at this time. We feel such utter peace and joy about growing our family through adoption and we are very, very excited.
